THEODORA DICKINSON (SOLOIST): Born and raised in Libertyville, Illinois (a small suburb of Chicago), Dickinson – who goes by "Thea" – joins the Royal Ballet as a guest soloist for the winter 2007 production of The Nutcracker. She danced with the American Ballet Theatre from 2004-2006, promoted to First Artist, then moved to the Chicago Ballet Company as Soloist in mid-2006. Her repertory includes Clara, Fairy of the Song Bird, Lead Swans (Swan Lake), Harlot (Romeo and Juliet), solos in Paquita and Raymonda Act III, Fairy Godmother (Cinderella), Arabian Dance (Nutcracker), Rosaline, Bathilde, First Sylph (La Sylphide), Prayer (Coppélia), Empress Elisabeth and in works including Broken Fiction and Theme and Variation. She created a solo role in Anna-Marie Holmes' Raymonda (ABT 2005).
